About Emer
Emer, a partner in our corporate & commercial team, brings vast experience working with both Irish organizations and international businesses across diverse sectors.
She specializes in resolving corporate legal issues related to cross-border mergers, conversions, and corporate restructurings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Her expertise extends to implementing business transformations for global brands, advising on company law, corporate governance, and compliance across various sectors.
Aside from her role as a Partner, Emer serves as Chair of Bank of Ireland's Independent Appeals Panel, established under the Central Bank of Ireland’s framework for the industry-wide Tracker Mortgage Examination, one of the most significant consumer protection reviews conducted by the Central Bank.
With extensive practical experience in strategy and governance in the not-for-profit/charities sector, Emer has served as a non-executive director for several well-known charities.
Before joining Beauchamps as a partner in 2015, she held the position of Deputy General Counsel at Aviva Ireland.
