On 7 March 2019, Beauchamps was delighted to host a pre International Women’s Day celebration for clients and friends of the firm.
The event which took place in Marco Pierre White’s restaurant in Donnybrook provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, hear from leaders in business, media, politics and education that have encouraged and influenced gender equality and catch up with friends old and new.
Imelda Reynolds, Chair of Beauchamps, hosted a lively panel discussion, where she invited her guests to share their experiences and insights on their career as well as imparting advice and sharing little known facts about themselves with the audience.
Panellists included:
• Liz O’Donnell, Director of Policy, Communication and Government Affairs at MSD Ireland, Chair RSA and former Minister
• Martina Devlin, Author and Columnist
• Professor Yvonne Galligan, Director for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Technological University Dublin
A wonderful evening was had by all and several guests commented that the evening was the perfect way to mark the achievements and progress made by women in recent years. There was also recognition that diversity and inclusion ambitions must be actively promoted by all organisations to achieve true equality.
