We recently advised SHS Group, a Northern Ireland company which owns a range of consumer brands and provides manufacturing and logistics services across the UK and Ireland, on the Irish law aspects of its acquisition of Standard Brands (UK) Limited, which produces Sunny Jim firelighters and the Zip range of fire products.
The team advised on Irish corporate, property and employment law, as well as on competition issues arising from the transaction. The Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission cleared the transaction on 27 August 2017.
The team consisted of partners Dorit McCann (competition), Máire Cunningham (corporate / M&A), Tony O’Sullivan (property), and Dermot Casserly (employment).
