The survey, which tracks funding from equity funds raised by Irish SME sand other SMEs headquartered in Ireland from a wide variety of investors, shows that Irish tech SMEs raised a record €499m in the first half of 2017, while companies raised €252 million from investors in the second quarter of the year.
It also showed that early-stage companies raised seed capital of €23.3 million (9% of funds raised) in Q2 2017. This brings the total in the first half of 2017 to €56.8 million (11% of funds raised).
