Tony O'Sullivan, Partner at Beauchamps and current President of the Dublin Solicitors' Bar Association, was delighted to host the annual DSBA Spring Gala and Book Awards at the Westin Hotel in Dublin on Friday 28 February 2020.
The Guest speaker on the night was Garda Commissioner Drew Harris who spoke on changes in an Garda Síochána and took questions from the floor. Commissioner Harris was presented with a bound copy of the Irish Constitution in keeping with the Book Awards theme.
The night was also a celebration of the late Paul Anthony McDermott S.C., who received an award for his outstanding contribution to legal scholarship. The award was accepted by his brother James McDermott B.L. and the widow of the late Paul Anthony McDermott Mrs. Annick McDermott.
