Beauchamps' Corporate, Commercial Property and Employment teams were delighted to provide legal advice to Indian based development company, Mapaex, which operates in the areas of Healthcare, Contract Manufacturing, Development and Marketing of Over The Counter Products, on its acquisition of the Procter and Gamble (P&G) operation in Newbridge County Kildare.
The transfer of the Kildare operation is due to complete in 2021 with P&G's approximate 400 employees at Newbridge being retained, and the Oral Care and Braun products which are provided by P&G continuing to be supplied from the facility. This sale of the state of the art facility is part of a wider restructuring plan which is also intended to encourage additional business to the site.
Beauchamps engagement with Mapaex spanned all aspects of the acquisition and included drafting, negotiation and advice in particular relating to Corporate from deal lead partner Damian Maloney, Employment from associate Paul Gough and Property from partner Gerry Gallen.
