The team is known for advising on the full scope of data protection matters including advising on data protection compliance, dealing with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and on preparation for and compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which introduces substantial changes to EU data protection law.
We also have broad experience advising on obligations under freedom of information (FOI) legislation including advising on access requests, reviewing and advising on the documentation the subject matter of such requests, and advising on appeals to the Information Commissioner.
